Emma Clair

Our little Emma is getting big!! She has gone two weeks now without wetting the bed, so that is exciting. She gets a special treat when she wakes up and is dry so she makes sure to tell me to give her her treat. She loves Eliot Ronald and is a wonderful big sister. When he cries she tries to help him, but when I lay him down to kick around, she goes to him and lays down and talks to him. He likes her and knows her voice. Emma gets excited for such little things and has the most wonderful manners which I don't know where she learned. The other day I picked up a toy and she said "thank you mom for picking up that toy." Or she says "Thanks for feeding the dogs." I put on some clothes to go to town and she says "that is a cute shirt mom." I just melts my heart that she is so polite and sincere. I am so glad that we got such a beautiful caring girl!!

Emma plays outside all the time by herself, and she is safe cause we live in the middle of nowhere, I am constantly looking out window to see where she is checking on her cause I am paranoid that she will get hurt or do something she shouldn't. She loves her dogs and plays with them all the time. I was outside with her working on the yard and went in for a minute to check on the baby and looked out to see her walking in just balling. I was panicing cause there was blook dripping from her nose and all in her mouth. Well she was playing with the dogs out in the dirt and tripped and scraped her face up pretty good. She got a bloody nose and it all went into her mouth because she was crying so hard. I cleaned her up in the shower and gave her a nap. When she woke up there were scratches all the way down her face. Oh I felt bad and when I for a second she happened to get hurt. She is tough and will learn to pick her feet up I guess.

We went to library story time and it was about Pirates. They made pirate hats and an eye patch. She enjoys book and has a fun time doing the craft.

It looked like she had chocolate for something all over her nose and people kept asking me what it was. I told them a scab and they all felt bad for her because it looked horrible. She ended up picking her scab off this morning so hopefully it won't be a big scar.
