Well we had a wonderful time at Sara's house while Jake was gone. Tuesday we went to the Zoo. It was the perfect weather and the power just happened to be down, so we got in FREE. It was nice. We saw all the animals and Emma loved it. She had fun running from cage to cage and just being outside and seeing new animals.

Happy Halloween
Emma had a great Halloween. She dressed up in her little pioneer dress with apron and had her hair in braids. People thought she was a cute prarie girl so I guess the costume worked, lol. We started off with a trunk or treat at our church. Both wards were there, so there were tons of cars to go to. Emma didn't know what to do and didn't enjoy having to hold my hand so she started whining.
After getting a little stash of candy and some fun, we headed to Sugar City and made it to the end of their trunk or treat. We visited with more people from the ward, them trick or treat, but Emma just wanted to run and play at the park. We headed to a little neighborhood in Rexburg that had lots of lights on. She didn't want to get out and start, but once we went to one house, she thought it was cool and said "okay, next one mom!" We walked around to the houses and she did great and got some good things. I asked her if she was done and she said no, so we went to one more spot.
It looked like a good neighborhood and just about every light was on, so an easy spot too. Emma went right up to each door and liked ringing the door bell. It was fun to see all the porches decorated and one house even had a fog machine go off every few seconds, so Emma thought that was cool. She learned the word "Spooky" and said it a lot. The last house was a haunted house in their garage. Emma walked right up and wanted to go in. I explained to her that it was scary, but she still wanted to go. I figured okay, we will try it. She had fun and didn't cry or anthing. She said it was spooky, but was happy when we left. I guess I have one brave girl.

Halloween PARTY!!!
We went to a Halloween Party last night. Robyn's family got together for some fun. They started out with Pumpkin carving at 3. It was cold outside, so Emma didn't help me much. I carved a typical face and told Emma to put her hands in and pul out the insides. She got one piece, then was done, lol. The rest of the party was inside. All the kids were dressed up, which was really fun to see. They played and we ate dinner. Then the games began. It was very fun especially for Emma!!!!
Emma and Jordan. Emma was a pioneer and Jordan was a pirate.
All of the pumpkins lined up. They judged all them and had candy as prizes for the winners of each catagory.

SILLY EMMA

She loves my Molly Doll! She takes care of her and even puts her in bed when she goes. It is cute. She took her for a ride on her bike. They both leaned forward and she drove just as fast as she could.

Spud Harvest 09
Harvest was successful!!! We finished just in time for the ground to freeze. Some other farmers weren't that lucky and lost some potatoes due to frost. It went pretty well this year. Jake kept very busy. We were able to ride with him some which Emma thinks is so fun. She cries sometimes when he leaves cause she wants to ride with him. It is cute. She sure is a farm girl and fits in well.
The digger is filling the trucks with tatoes then they haul them back to the cellars.
Emma likes to get down and dirty. Helping the men fix things is fun I guess. She likes to pass tools out and put them away which is good.
