Testing out the cookies to make sure they are yummy!!

Fun at the Park

The day after Thanksgiving Sara, Emma and I headed to the park for some Christmas fun. We donated a toy for a child and got a chilli dinner, hay ride with horses, face painting, music, and of course Santa was there. It was fun and there were fireworks at the end.

The two trouble makers, LOL. They sure have fun together.

Wednesday, November 18, 2009

Well we had a wonderful time at Sara's house while Jake was gone. Tuesday we went to the Zoo. It was the perfect weather and the power just happened to be down, so we got in FREE. It was nice. We saw all the animals and Emma loved it. She had fun running from cage to cage and just being outside and seeing new animals.

Weekend with Sisters

John, Jessica, baby, and Jessie came over to Sara's to hang out while we were there. It was fun to see them and the baby. She is cute!! Good to see old friends and visit!
Halle was so excited to see the baby. She definatly is going to be a great big sister!!!

The girls rockin. So cute little cousins

Emma eating yummy food!

She just loved this rocking chair at Sara's. She would climb in it and just rock away!

Halle was so excited to see Emma. She wanted to share with her and couldn't wait to play with her. They had so much fun together. They played great too, no fights at Sara's house, they shared everything and followed each other around.

Happy Halloween

Emma had a great Halloween. She dressed up in her little pioneer dress with apron and had her hair in braids. People thought she was a cute prarie girl so I guess the costume worked, lol. We started off with a trunk or treat at our church. Both wards were there, so there were tons of cars to go to. Emma didn't know what to do and didn't enjoy having to hold my hand so she started whining.
After getting a little stash of candy and some fun, we headed to Sugar City and made it to the end of their trunk or treat. We visited with more people from the ward, them trick or treat, but Emma just wanted to run and play at the park. We headed to a little neighborhood in Rexburg that had lots of lights on. She didn't want to get out and start, but once we went to one house, she thought it was cool and said "okay, next one mom!" We walked around to the houses and she did great and got some good things. I asked her if she was done and she said no, so we went to one more spot.
It looked like a good neighborhood and just about every light was on, so an easy spot too. Emma went right up to each door and liked ringing the door bell. It was fun to see all the porches decorated and one house even had a fog machine go off every few seconds, so Emma thought that was cool. She learned the word "Spooky" and said it a lot. The last house was a haunted house in their garage. Emma walked right up and wanted to go in. I explained to her that it was scary, but she still wanted to go. I figured okay, we will try it. She had fun and didn't cry or anthing. She said it was spooky, but was happy when we left. I guess I have one brave girl.

Little pioneer!
Her hair looked really cute!

She was so tired when we got home, that I didn't get any good pictures.

I just plopped the candy bowl down by her and snaped one pic. She had a great time and will be excited for the next Halloween I am sure.

Emma Clair

Emma trying to hide from me taking a picture!
I love this picture! She is my little princess. We went to Wal-Mart the other day and all the Halloween stuff was on clearance, so we got a princess kit to play with.

Jake was laying in bed one evening just talking to me and Emma went to her room and got out all her blankets and started covering him up. She wanted him to be cozy so he could nap. After tucking him in, she got her babies and bear and snuggled in right next to him. I thought is was cute!

Halloween PARTY!!!

We went to a Halloween Party last night. Robyn's family got together for some fun. They started out with Pumpkin carving at 3. It was cold outside, so Emma didn't help me much. I carved a typical face and told Emma to put her hands in and pul out the insides. She got one piece, then was done, lol. The rest of the party was inside. All the kids were dressed up, which was really fun to see. They played and we ate dinner. Then the games began. It was very fun especially for Emma!!!!

Emma and Jordan. Emma was a pioneer and Jordan was a pirate.

All of the pumpkins lined up. They judged all them and had candy as prizes for the winners of each catagory.

Our cute pumpkin. Emma won "most teeth" lol and she won overall best Halloween pumpkin. She got a candy bar and a bag of cookies for my creativity!!

Some of the kids playing!!

Emma doing the cup cake walk with Jordan.

Cake walk!!

Bobbing for apples. Some kids did great, but the little ones just grabbed them out. Was very fun for all of them though.

The party was very fun and we went home with a lot of prizes and treats. Had the fishing game and a few others that were just fun!

SILLY EMMA

I got winter stuff out so that we could be warm and she enjoyed trying all the things on.

She loves my Molly Doll! She takes care of her and even puts her in bed when she goes. It is cute. She took her for a ride on her bike. They both leaned forward and she drove just as fast as she could.
Always has a grubby little face. Guess I need to take the time to wash it more. LOL

Sarda and Emma!! Sara came to visit for conference weekend cause she had a break, and I enjoyed her company. We always have fun no matter what we do, but of course I had work for us to do. She helped and Emma just loves her, so we had a blast together.

Emma is getting better at using the potty!!! At home we are great, but I haven't tried out in public yet. She is still young and I can already tell I have saved on diapers just while she is in undies at home. She is getting so big!

Spud Harvest 09

Harvest was successful!!! We finished just in time for the ground to freeze. Some other farmers weren't that lucky and lost some potatoes due to frost. It went pretty well this year. Jake kept very busy. We were able to ride with him some which Emma thinks is so fun. She cries sometimes when he leaves cause she wants to ride with him. It is cute. She sure is a farm girl and fits in well.

The digger is filling the trucks with tatoes then they haul them back to the cellars.

Emma likes to get down and dirty. Helping the men fix things is fun I guess. She likes to pass tools out and put them away which is good.

The good old farm dog. What a trooper for riding in the back of Jake's truck all the time.

There they are. Driving the truck. Don't worry they weren't going that fast.

The digger switching fields. All the trucks followed him in a row. Was cool to watch cause the field is right outside our window so we got to watch them work a little from home.

Down at the cellars putting the tatoes in to store for winter.
