Valentines Day

What a mess!!! We decorated sugar cookies at our sledding party the night before, but Emma sure enjoyed eating them, well at least the frosting.
Well, not a great picture, I just look huge up top, but you get the point. I am 26 weeks or so. I definatly have a belly and can feel baby move all the time now. It is fun!!

My little princess. She is so beautiful. Jake and I can't believe we have such a pretty little girl that is growing so fast!! We love to watch her and see her personality! I have been trying to get the video camera out more and capture moments.

There is Miss Blue Eyes!! Eating cheescake celebrating Valentines Day with mom and dad. She loves all Holidays, and got so excited about her Valentine gift on the table and had a fun day!!

Emma and daddy eating dinner!!

Emma

I was trying to nap the other day and Emma was having quiet time, but came into my room and was being loud. I put all her stuffed animals in her room and pulled her covers down so she could sit in her room and play with them. She cried for a few minutes, but didn't know she was that tired. I bet she was in her bed for about 3 minutes and fell asleep and took a nice long nap. Her room was bright and her door was open, she just got cozy and tired, lol. Silly girl
Not a very good picture, but there we are. I think Emma is a lot like me, lol. I think that is a good thing though, he he!!!

She wanted me to make a tent the other day, so I did. She added some pillows and blankets and brought all of her stuffed animals to play in it with her. They are all her "friends" It is so cute to watch her play and pretend with them. She sure had fun in her tent.

I let Emma draw on her table with the erasable markers the other day. I tried to avoid telling her that she could write on it, but she found the markers, so I decided to let her. She loves it and just scribbles all kinds of things in it.

She picks this dress to wear all the time. She is such a little girl and I am so glad I get to stay home with her each day and play and be her mother. It is so fun to not be rushed to go places and to just enjoy my time with her!!!

She found her old gloves and hat in the closet. She looks a little silly, but cute as always.

Big Girl

Emma finally got a big bed in January. She was so excited when we set it up. She does miss her crib ocasionally, and wants to play in it, but her big bed is cooler, lol. We had a really hard time with her recently, getting her to nap and bed. It was so frusterating, I about went nuts, lol. First she sings and talks during nap time and by the time she gets to bed, it is an hour later and she doesn't want to wake up so she is not tired at nighttime when I am exhausted. She also wanted some milk and just cried and screamed when I said no, so of coarse, I gave in. OH, the troubles. This last week she would cry for a cup at night, then fall asleep and wake up at 5:30 for some reason. One night both Jake and I had to take turned tying to get her to lay back down and fall asleep without milk. Why did I let that bad habit go so long????? Anyway, she is a little angel now and I couldn't ask for anything better.
My big girl bed is so cool!!! I love all the room and playing on my bed!

I play in my room all the time. She says "mom you wanna play in my room with me? okay come on lets go" and runs down to her room. She is great at entertaining herself when mommy needs to rest and is fairly quiet too.

Kind of a dark picture, but her room is cute. The past few days she has gotten the hang of how we go to bed. She hasn't complained for milk, and has slept all night!! YAY!! I was stressed for a while there hoping she would get the hang of things before May, lol. Tonight, I was folding laundry and told her that it was time to get some stories and read. I should have snapped a picture cause is was so cute, but she had turned her reading lamp on and was sitting in bed reading stories. She had them all picked out and was acutally talking like she knew all the words to them, lol. It was so funny. I am so proud of her for being so big. We read and prayed and turned her music on and never heard a peep out of her. It is wonderful because all day playing really exhausts her so that she falls asleep fast and stays asleep. The past two nights, her diaper was even dry when she woke up. She said she had to pee shortly after she woke up, but if it keeps going like this, we may be done with diapers for a few months!! YAHOO!!

My precious little girl. She is so happy and loves to play. She put all her animals and babies in her tent and baskets and is very creative.

Emma knows her ABC's now, she also is learning a lot of new animal songs from her cd's. She is very observant and smart. She is excited for the baby to come and loves to play with the baby toys in babys room! It is wonderful to be a parent and Emma is the best little girl!!!!

MERRY CHRISTMAS

Emma kept wanting more presents to open at her Grandparents house. She helped Jake and I finish ours.
Her Great Grandma made her a night gown. She was so excited and had to put it on right away. She also got her tights and an undershirt so she could be modest when she twirls in it, lol.

Her big present from Jake's parents was a new quilt that she had made. It is her and will look great on her twin bed when she finally gets it, lol. Right now she plays on it in her tent.

My little girl. Not so little anymore, but love each day I get to spend with her.

CHRISTMAS 09

Christmas was great. Emma didn't wake up until 9 so we got a late start. She was excited and saw her tent first. She also put out cookies for Santa on the table and noticed that they were all gone. She took the plate and said that "Santa needs more" because he ate them all and tried to fill up his egg nog some more. It was cute.
She did great at unwrapping. She had to get all the paper off and tape, before she could see it, so it took a while, but was fun watching her. She loved everything and weould get a present and take it to her tent and go play. We were like, come on Emma you have more to open. I am glad she is grateful to simple things and doesn't expect much, lol.

She loves her baby center from Grandma Pauline. It has a place to bath her baby, and put her to sleep. There is also a place to hang clothes, so Emma likes to hang bitty babies thing up until she needs them. She was also very pleased to open a new baby. She is her best friend now and does everything with her baby. She will be a great big sister.

She got a new table and chairs set so we can have tea parties with her new tea set. She loves it and loves to pretend that we are having snacks.

Her new tent! She enjoys it and put new toys inside everyday!!

Fun in the Snow

We have quite a lot of snow. Joe came over and played with Emma. They went sledding down our front yard and had a lot of fun.
Kinda crunchy snow, hard to walk in, LOL

All bundled up, excpet she still needs boots. Didn't keep her out long cause her feet got cold, lol.

Playing with her dogs and sledding.

Ward Christmas Party

The Ward Party was pretty fun. They had different activities for the kids to do. We went to leave and Emma's coat was not anywhere in site. I guess someone acidentally took it. I am sad because it was her cute little pea coat from Old Navy. They announced it in church, but no sign of her coat yet. I am dissapointed that someone at church took it, but oh well.
She couldn't wait to see Santa. She actually ran up to him and was excited.

Giving Santa a hug!!
