Silly Emma. She likes those boots. She was in her room I thought playing and I heard her whining, I went in to check on her and she couldn't get her boots on and was getting angry! Oh, man I just laughed, now I know why Halle would whine when she couldn't get the right shape to fit or couldn't get something down. They just get frusterated like we all do!! lol Kids are funny!

The bad news is this.... I pulled into the parking spot for the doctor and opened Emma's door and she puked all over herself. It just kept coming and I had nothing there to help her catch it all. Needless to say, It was horrible and she smelt so bad. I was stuck. I opened the trunk and have a surviv{al bag for winter in there and just happened to have a pair of pajamas. I had to take everything off and she was crying and didn't feel well. Put the jamies, on and ended up going to her appointment explaining to the doctor why she smelled so bad. I mean it was in her hair, nose, car seat, everywhere!!! AAAHHH! I called Jake's sister cause I knew she was close by. We headed over there and she gave Emma a bath while I cleaned the seat so we could go home. I ended up going to Walmart and buying a new outfit, new onsies, socks and diapers, lol I guess it was okay for her, getting new stuff. LOL We survived and her car seat still smells just so you all know. I am working on cleaning the base more, lol. One heck of a morning I had, but I am glad Emma feels better!

We went in for Emma's 18 month check up today. She is 34 inches tall (96% Percentile) wow, a tall little girl she is!! She weighs 24 pounds ( 51% )! She is nice and healthy and the doctor was great and very nice and welcoming!! That is the good news!!!

Well I hear that everyone wants to see pictures of Jake and I too, but the truth is, I always take the pictures so I am never in them and well you all know how Jake is in a picture, so I will try harder to get some more of us.

She loves that game now and likes to put things over her head and have you find her. How silly!!!

Happy Valentine's Day!!!! Emma is eating a cookie and having a blast. Jake and I went out the night before so that was our date! We went to Cameron's wedding reception which was fun, and then out to eat and just hung out without Emma for a while. I made a yummy breakfast the next morning with heart shaped pancakes just like Ellen did, lol. It was yummy. We spent the day just hanging out and being a family. Emma took a 4 hour nap so Jake and I decided to go back to bed. It was nice of Emma to sleep that long so we could rest, lol. Later I made sugar cookies and we went to Jake's families for dinner. Jenny (Jakes oldest sister) brought her new guys over for the famly to meet. We had a big steak dinner with tons of people and played games. It was fun!

Here is my Happy girl!! We have had two other kids here this week cause I was watching them while their mom subbed at school. She is having a hard time dealing with other kids, but is hanging in there. After they left and she had a nap, she is so happy and you can tell she really enjoys just being with mom and dad alone. Today is the last day, so things will be back to normal soon. Which will be good for Emma.
