Emma and Eliot

Emma Clair
Our little Emma is turning into a fine young lady. She has the best manners and I am not sure where she got them, but we will certainly keep them, lol. I will be cleaning and she says, "Oh, thank you for mopping mom, or thank you for picking that up" I just smile at her and say "Your Welcom" She is so tender and sweet. When she doesn't get enough sleep she is different person so we definately try to get her to bed on time. She loves to play outside even when the days aren't that great.
Emma's bed for the next few days while Aunt Ellen and Hal gal and Oliver visited us. Thanks for coming Ell, I had a great time and appreciate all your help.
We took the kids to the spray park to play one afternoon. The girls were excited to ride the merry go ride.
Halle and Emma cooling off.
Modeling a new outfit from Grandma Pauline, she loves it by the way. It is a perfect Emma outfit. She wore it to church today and looked just gorgeous. Thank you
Oh, she is getting quite the imagination. She pulled all her bears out and put them in a circle and started to pray with them. She is good at folding her arms now and she bowed her head and started saying " Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for this day, thank you for my family, and some more stuff then, Amen" It was so cute that she knows that and she is pretending with her animals. She loves Nursery and always comes home happy and sings the Primary songs all night. It is so precious to see this sweet side of Emma come out and she will be a wonderful example to little Eliot!!!

ELIOT'S Blessing
We had a party to celebrate Eliot getting blessed on Saturday the 3rd. All of Jake's family were there and some friends. We grilled hamburgers and hotdogs and had lots of salads and treats. Later we listened to patriotic music and had a bonfire and fireworks. Emma had a great time and was so wore out. It was a lot of fun to get together and celebrate our little suprise!!!

Thank you Rena for the cute John Deere hat and bib. I needed a hat really bad for him and it came at the prefect time. It was quite cold over the weekend so it can in handy!!

Eliot 5 weeks old
Although Eliot is growing, he is still fussy and seems uncomfortable. I finally called the doctor and let him know and they think that he can't digest the dairy products that I am eating. The poor little guys stomache can't handle what I eat, so I am to stay off all dairy products for two weeks to see if that makes a difference. So far I haven't seen much change, because his tummy still gurgles and he is hurting somewhere. I sure hope that things look better for us, cause I am getting exhausted not sleeping and having to hold him all the time. We will see next week what the doctor says next.
His hand is grabbing his blue bear, I thought it was cute!!
