Emma finally got a big bed in January. She was so excited when we set it up. She does miss her crib ocasionally, and wants to play in it, but her big bed is cooler, lol. We had a really hard time with her recently, getting her to nap and bed. It was so frusterating, I about went nuts, lol. First she sings and talks during nap time and by the time she gets to bed, it is an hour later and she doesn't want to wake up so she is not tired at nighttime when I am exhausted. She also wanted some milk and just cried and screamed when I said no, so of coarse, I gave in. OH, the troubles. This last week she would cry for a cup at night, then fall asleep and wake up at 5:30 for some reason. One night both Jake and I had to take turned tying to get her to lay back down and fall asleep without milk. Why did I let that bad habit go so long????? Anyway, she is a little angel now and I couldn't ask for anything better.

My big girl bed is so cool!!! I love all the room and playing on my bed!

I play in my room all the time. She says "mom you wanna play in my room with me? okay come on lets go" and runs down to her room. She is great at entertaining herself when mommy needs to rest and is fairly quiet too.

Kind of a dark picture, but her room is cute. The past few days she has gotten the hang of how we go to bed. She hasn't complained for milk, and has slept all night!! YAY!! I was stressed for a while there hoping she would get the hang of things before May, lol. Tonight, I was folding laundry and told her that it was time to get some stories and read. I should have snapped a picture cause is was so cute, but she had turned her reading lamp on and was sitting in bed reading stories. She had them all picked out and was acutally talking like she knew all the words to them, lol. It was so funny. I am so proud of her for being so big. We read and prayed and turned her music on and never heard a peep out of her. It is wonderful because all day playing really exhausts her so that she falls asleep fast and stays asleep. The past two nights, her diaper was even dry when she woke up. She said she had to pee shortly after she woke up, but if it keeps going like this, we may be done with diapers for a few months!! YAHOO!!

My precious little girl. She is so happy and loves to play. She put all her animals and babies in her tent and baskets and is very creative.

Emma knows her ABC's now, she also is learning a lot of new animal songs from her cd's. She is very observant and smart. She is excited for the baby to come and loves to play with the baby toys in babys room! It is wonderful to be a parent and Emma is the best little girl!!!!
