Emma girl!

My little reader. She loves book and tries to read them. She even starts jibbering when she looks at a magazine or newspaper, thinking she is making sense of it all, lol.
Emma thinks that all the baby toys are still for her. I opened her closet to find something and she wanted me to get out the bouncer seat. She puts her babies on it and thinks that it is still awesome.

Trying on her new outfit from Grandma Lambert!

Loves to slide and play on her swingset.

Not that good of a picture, but she is still cute and enjoying the outdoors.

The Party for EMMA!!

We had a birthday Party for Emma on Saturday. It turned out pretty good. Just Jake's family came, but that was perfect.
Emma and Daddy getting ready to blow out the candles.

Emma made her own cake this year, lol. She went to crack and egg in it and the shell fell in, I only picked a piece out so I think it turned out okay, LOL. She also got to frost it and decorate with a few m&m's. She thought that is was awesome and enjoyed eating it too. What a helper, she loved to cook!

Mom got her a birthday crown, but she didn't like it as much as I thought. It was hard to get it to stay in especailly with braids. She kept it on for a while and we were able to get some good picutres, Now she can dress up with it when friends come over to play and pretend.

Lexi loved helping Emma open her gifts. As soon as Emma opened a toy, she was done unwrapping and just wanted to play. It was cute!

She got a shape sorter from mom and she likes it a lot.

Just playing with all her stuff after it was over. She was content all night and the first thing she did in the morning was run out to get them all again.

Happy Birthday EMMMA!!

There she is, Miss Emma Clair ready to celebrate her 2nd birthday!!! She looks so cute in her new outfit and so very happy!
I tried mopping before the family came, and Emma just had to help. She actually did pretty well.

Being silly in the basket. She asked me to tak her for a ride. lol

Jake went riding that morning but returned with plenty of time for the party. He took Emma for a little ride and she loved it. How cute the two of them!!

Playing outside waiting for everyone to arrive for her party.

I tried to get a cute picture of her outfit, but she decided to melt instead. I guess that happens when you don't get what you want, lol.

Cute girls. Mom in her "zebra" jamies, LOL Flamingo, but Emma kept saying zebra, that was funny though.

Emma swimming in her cold pool, very brave to even get her feet in it was so cold.

Emma got in her playpen like a baby! I guess she will always be mine and Grandma just loved her.

We played Mexican train and relaxed at night. It was fun.

Tuesday~ Swimmin at Rigby Lake

I definatly have a swimmer on my hands, Emma headed straight for the water when we unloaded from the car. Good thing Sara was behind her cause she just ran in and thinks she can swim, LOL.
Emma loved the water. It was so cold I don't know how anyone got in it, but we braved it and it was refreshing after a while. Grandma was teaching Emma to swim and kick her feet.

Awww!! So cute. It was fun to see Emma play and enjoy herself especially with Grandma!

She enjoyed the sand and fillin buckets with gooey sand.

Dumping a bucket and getting dirty.

Sara and I in the water trying to stay warm. LOL

My princess! Her first time at a lake and second time swimming. She had a great time.

She didn't want to leave. Grandma took her to the swing set and she just kept on sliding and sliding.

Dad helping Emma finish her breakfast. Yum Yum, cereal

Dad getting Emma. She is so cudly and fun. She says "Get ya" when she wants you to chase her and get her. How silly!

Don't know what that look is for. I think she is laughing at Grandpa!

Monday's activities

We ventured out to the Sand Dunes on Monday afternoon. It is pretty cool. There are just huge dunes all over. It was a lot of fun to play in the sand.
Mom and Emma playing in the sand with her toys.

Mom decided to see what is was like to roll down the dune. She got going and couldn't stop at some points, It was funny to watch. It was more funny to see Emma get down and try to roll so that she can be just like Grandma. She didn't quite get the hang of rolling but she put forth a great effort and thought it was fun.

Chasing Grandma in the sand.

Her first attemp to roll in the sand falled when she went head first into it. She got a nice mouth full and mom is trying to get it out for her. It was fun!

All of us playing in the sand. We had fun digging and building castles.

Emma getting her feet buried in all the sand.
