Bryants visit

We had a great time with the Bryants this week. Jessie graduated on Thursday July 23 so we all went to lunch at Gringos. They wanted to see the Morgans cause Becky was visiting Lizzy so they met us there too. Lizzy had her new baby William. He was only 11 days old and so teeny tiny. So cute. Hunter enjoyed playing with Emma too (they are about a year apart) Abbie came later and brought her fiance so we got to meet him too. We remaniced about old vacations together, the Lamberts, Bryants and Morgans. We had a lot of fun together. When we got out of the car, Emma ran right up to Debbie and hugged her! It was cute. We were just home in Illinois and saw everyone so I think that helped, but she is a little love bug!! Thanks for visiting us Deb and Larry, we had a great time with you!!! :)
Later that night, they came up to visit and stay the night. We chatted and played a game Debbie had. Then got to bed. The next morning, I made breakfast and we enjoyed the country in Idaho ( my back yard, lol) It was a lot of fun!

Jake wanted them to shoot my gun at an apple in the yard. They both did and blew the apple to pieces, lol.

Emma just loved Debbie. She showed her all her toys in her room and they played for a while. What a great grandma Debbie it!! :)

Jake, Jud and Emma.

July outdoor fun

Emma loves to be outside. Her best friend is our dog "Saddie" She calls her and they run around the yard all day long. It is cute to see them. They love to get wet and play with all her toys.
Saddie thinks it is cool to get the water and Emma loves to squirt her!!

Playing in the dirt! Gotta let her be a kid and get dirty. She really enjoys playing with all the rocks and dirt.

Emma making a mess, or cleaning in up LOL. She likes to spray the water all over and is filling up everything she sees. It is cute to see her imagination take charge and she can occupy herself for a while.

Best buds. Saddie is really good with Emma. Emma calls, and says" Come" she also tells her "no Saddie" when Emma has a snack and Saddie tries to get it. They are sure cute together.

My little munchkin playing! She filled her bucket with water then came to sit by me. I was making a pile of weeds and rocks. She decided to put everything together and make like a yummy mess. She kept adding more rocks and had a blast.

Her favorite toy. She brings "puppy" outside all the time with her. She can push him on the sidewalk, but get frusterated when he won't follow in the grass. Too tall and uneven, but she just gets mad, lol. She even put him in her bath one night, hehe. Thanks aunt Ellen and uncle Joe, she really enjoys her puppy! Fun to play with!

Beautiful Yard

Well our yard looks a lot better. I mowed the lawn this week so that it would be even and look good when the Bryants came. We still have lots of weeds. I spend my days in the sun picking them but finally got sick of it and decided to just mow them down for now. These pictures were taken on July 23!
Things are getting there. There are still some patches that we need to fill in. We want to put bricks all the way to the deck, but maybe next summer. So far we have really really enjoyed our yard and being outside.

These are taken June 23. The grass is really thin and ugly. It has filled in a lot in a month and looke much better.

Parkinson Family Reunion!

This last weekend was Jake's families reunion! It was here at the farm so that was nice. Everyone brought a tent or a camper to spend the night. They had lots of activities to do. Beading, braclets, skeet shooting, bb guns, bow and arrow achery, quilts to tie, and even fun for the little kids! We just hung out and had fun. There were probably 60 of us there.
Emma girl! Don't worry that is not her bottle, lol! She loves babies and was giving it to her cousin Mckenzie because she like to tend her and help!

Emma and daddy just got back from a 4'wheeler ride!

Robyn had these cute pioneer dresses made for each little girl! She suprised them when they got there. They turned the old Bunk house (workers used to stay in it way back when) into a playhouse and put some beds in it, curtains, and dolls to play with. Oh, they all just loved it. They played pretend it the house all day and thought it was awesome. Emma loves her dress and put it on last night for a minute. She is so silly and just got excited!

Here are all the little girl cousins! They all look so cute. Even the baby(6 months) has a dress. Emma's is really cute and she likes it. The girls wore them all day and were thrilled to find out they got to take them home!!

My little pioneer child!! So so beautiful!!

We had archery set up and could shoot the bear. The next day Emma wandered over to see the bear and thought it was pretty cool.

Fourth of July Fun!!!!

She is always busy, you can see all her toys in the pile of soil pep to the side of her. Like to use her shovels!
Her bike, which she loves!!!

Thanks for the clothes mom from last year when you and Ellen found the sale at Old Navy! They all fit perfect now and were wonderful for the Fourth!

Well Emma and I had a great Fourth of July. We started our day early and went to church for a flag ceremony and breakfast. It was really good and the food was awesome! Then we headed over to Rexburg to get seats for the parade. We got there an hour and half early and all the front rows were taken. It was way crowded and tons and tons of kids. She absolutely loved the parade. She covered her ears for the sirens, but saw "neigh neighs, " airplanes, flags, candy, dogs, and lots of kids. I took her out to the street so she could see and she danced and jumped up and down. She loved it and was so so happy. It was fun to see her so enthused. She didn't get much candy because the other kids were way too aggressive, but she got enough, lol! After the parade, Emma was exhausted so she fell asleep in the car. She took a 4 hour nap at home, and I relaxed too. Then we went to his parents and had a bbq and set off some fireworks. Emma loved it all, and was really happy the whole day. She even got to do some sparklers!! It was a great day to spend with her and enjoy our freedoms!!

Emma needed a new camp chair and I saw this one that has an umbrella too. I set it up for her and she said "YEah Yeah, chair, I like it" So cute. She does like it and takes a break from playing to sit down for a second!
I found this bug catching kit at the dollar store. It has a net, a little home for the bugs and tweezers to inspect them. She thought is was cool and took her net all over the yard to look for bugs. We found a stink bug which she loved and had a pet for a day, then let him go. She is very interested in the outdoors and bugs!!

Her hair fits into a nice long braid! I love it. Had to take a picture to capture her beauty!

Emma having her lunch on her little table and chair. We usually take it out on the deck and have a picnic out there every day for lunch! Fun fun.

Her new swimsuit is great Lauren!! She thinks it is cool to acutally wear something when she swims besides a diaper, lol! It has been nice so she is outside a lot and loves her pool!

Oh, so cute! She is all hot from running around all day! Taking a break to catch her breathe, then back to playing!
